CGR Undertow – SLED SHRED for Nintendo Wii Video Game Review

admin September 13, 2012 14

Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of SLED SHRED for the Nintendo Wii console. Sled Shred tries borrow as much credibility has it can from Cool Runnings and its Jamaican roots (Coach Mon) in this video game but really never gets any downhill momentum going. The multiplayer mode is the best feature of this game were enjoyment is scarce with some loose gameplay control thrown in as well. This CGR Undertow video game review features Sled Shred video gameplay footage and commentary from Classic Game Room’s Derek.

This game had a $5 million dollar budget for a team of 8 people and it took them 5 years and several pounds of marijuana to get the game made and released. Originally planned for PS2 in 2004, the deal didn’t go through until later in 2005 which then moved to the Gamecube format. Wii came out after a pound was smoked and barely a few tracks were designed. The project switched to Wii, and those several years later funded 8 people’s groceries/bills, marijuana, soda and pizza in the studio.

No kidding. I bet it took 2 months for the developers to whip something like this up.
