I still loved Fight Night 3 on the PS3 better than any of them.. I’m still waiting to see a first person mode again.. that shit was badass, but exclusive to the PS3 version only.. but in my opinion a good challenge..
but parrying, haymaykers and “complex stick movement” was what made fight night fun :
Bareknuckles mode, you get it in the dlc.

it’s safe to say that it’s fun, but it’s nothing like boxing. Gamers will tell you otherwise; that it’s a perfect stimulated boxing experience… but don’t forget, they’re gamers not boxers.
EA pretty much butchered the servers. So I would just rent it if i were you
