Amalur is fun until you reach around level 20, then your character gets too powerful and it stops being fun. Going to a boss fight? No problem, save your fate meter and once the boss fight starts, activate fate and the boss is dead in seconds. The story sucks and doesn’t give you much incentive to finish the game. A good first effort by this developer…lets hope they do better next time. 9/10 is garbage, I’d say maybe a 7/10. At $60 it’s not worth it…wait for a used copy or price drop

my point at the time was that if you never play it than how will you know. but i look back and I might agree with ya. I dont own it and i have said the same thing. actually if you think about it most games aren’t worth 60 anyway

Great show Chobot. Really like the idea of comparing what IGN think of things to what everyone else is saying. Nice.
