I agree. plus it makes no sense to put (for example) Black ops 2 and halo 4 in a game of the year 2012 list because the likelihood is most people have played those games and know they’re good.

Some Metroid games are (probably) on the virtual console. I don’t know the release date of other M but I don’t think he reviewed it in 2009.
