CGRundertow DARK for iOS / iPhone / iPad Video Game Review

admin January 30, 2013 12

Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video review of DARK from Chillingo for the iPhone. DARK is a top-down shooter similar to games like Alien Breed and Alien Syndrome. Given the platform, DARK is completely controlled with touch. There’s a virtual circle pad on the bottom-left side of the screen that moves the character, and there’s another on the right that fires your weapon. You play DARK by sliding your thumb over those virtual circles as you would an analog stick. But to play a game like this, you just need buttons. There has to be some kind of tangible feedback, some physical sensation for that to work. And the touch screen just doesn’t have it. This CGRundertow video game review features video gameplay footage of DARK for the iPhone and audio commentary from Classic Game Room’s Derek.

I can’t pull rabbits out of hats, but I can use fake buttons as well as I could a controller. You should see my made skills in Street Fighter IV for iPhone

Darsharbit why isn’t there a bluetooth Iphone accessory that attaches two concave but for the most part flat analog sticks on the sides of your phone!? Seriously, WHY HAS NOBODY THINK OF THAT YET? TELL ME.
