The RidgeRacer series from Namco has been a classic arcade driving video game for years. In this seventh installment you drift and slide your way to nitrous oxide nitro boosting your car into warp speed to defeat your opponents in all kinds of crazy races. Collect cars, earn fake money and play this game at your own risk. Classic Game Room didn’t care for it and that’s a shame because CGRHD likes most racing games. Why didn’t we like it? Well, that’s kind of obvious. “AWESOME, YOU’RE SLIPSTREAMING!” Yes, the voice dialog is back seat driving at its worst. The graphics are sub par for a PS3 title and as this review shows the gameplay is lacking. If you want to play some great arcade style racing games check out Hydro Thunder and Fatal Interia!! But if you really want to drive cars then you neded to play Gran Turismo, Forza or Test Drive. RR7 wasn’t our cup of beer, but that doesn’t mean you won’t like it. it seems like the only thing Bandai Namco knows how to make well is Tekken games. Those are freakin epic if you ask me.
I do agree with some things in this video, but i still stink it’s a good game and i come back to it sometimes just to jump into a race. Burnout 3 had cars getting nitrous from drifts/take downs and nobody needs to justify that. I play this over Gran turismo not for realism, but for pure arcade racing like RR4.
Well 70 percent of ps3 owners were playing cod and mw at the time and the programers were experimenting and you dont wanna make a bad war game on ps3 people mite decided gameplay is moreimportant the graphics but its okay to fuc up in racing
