Elder sign rocks but on another note I was really wanting to know how you recorded your audio. Using headphones your audio recording sounds amazing. Its like your in the same room.

Is there a way to play with multiple players online with each other or does this have to be run in hot-seat mode?

Your reoccurring question of “why do we have only one Old One?” has an obvious answer, one that became clear when you stated it was Azathoth. If Azathoth awakens, the game immediately ends. Any other Old One would require programming the “Battling an Ancient One” part of the game – which means more programming for the developer (who probably had a release deadline). I suspect if there is an upgrade, it will have to be a purchase of an updated version of the game that includes these mechanics.
