this was supposed to be the launch title for the jaguar, but instead they went for a poorer title actaully developed for the lesser cancelled 32bit panther called cybermorph. since it wasnt ready.
a lot of poor games developed for panther was also released.
bad move that made the jaguar seam less capable than it actaully was, and attracted unfair critism over ataris claims of what the machine was capable off.
if atari had waited till this was ready, then it might have sold a little better

their information is completley retarded as well, this is not a bad doom clone, mainly since this was in strong development before doom, was supposed to come out before doom, and supposed to release in 93 the year doom came out, but the release date kept slipping till it’s actual release in 94, its actually a very advanced custom 3d engine for the time probably using a highly customised version of the wolfenstein engine and comparable with the doom engine.
    truely revelutionry for its time

    this is a terrible review.
no regard as to the standards off fps which was the first generation off them at the time.
this and doom stood a million miles above the standards of the day.
even today its still stands as a good game.
though it does feel a little dated.
and the jag up till 95/96, till the saturn and playstation became more avilable in uk, jaguar was the only machine to play them on.
if you play in emulation this game is to slow and stale but completly different on the actual hardware
