Urm… No. Prototype is based off the engine for their previous game Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction.
inFamous is Sucker Punch’s first Next-Gen title, and thus they have produced their OWN engine for inFamous.
The games also look NOTHING like each other. inFamous has amazingly detailed graphics. Prototype has PS2 graphics at best (since it is multiplatform). Buildings are flat for christ sake! Windows are just textures, unlike inFamous.
apart from the fact they’ve been made using the exact same engine so they look and feel extremely similar? durrrr.
both sandbox games with superpowers as well, as you said but failed to mention as part of your ‘comparison’.
I’d think you needed to add ‘in my opinion’ at the end of that prototype bash as well, as a lot of people I’ve talked to prefer prototype’s combat system, it’s a matter of taste.
