Sure, it’s fine to look back on the positives and negatives of the past to lead a more enriched life in the present. However, when you go so far as to look at it from this glass half empty viewpoint and aren’t able to move on from it then that’s where you get into regret and inhibiting your enjoyment of future experiences, such as a new game set in the same world as previous titles. I’m not saying you’re necessarily doing that because I don’t even know you, but this video isn’t even about SM2.
Have you ever played or seen a Kinect game played? The most repetitive and mundane control schemes of any type of game, and most of them are rail shooters where you can’t even move independently. Don’t know about you, but rail shooters aren’t fun for me without a peripheral (example, a gun or a wand). Going all the way back to arcade games like Time Crisis, it just wouldn’t be the same genre without the peripheral.
But ya, current generation consoles are very alike when it comes graphics.
