a ps3 plays blu ray movies DVDs CDs it has a browser netflix voice and video chat and plays games.
it doesnt have to have one soul purpose to be considered a DVD player or a gaming system or whatever.
just cause you dont like the games doesnt mean its not a gaming system the fact that there are thousands of games for iphone alone is enough to call it a gaming system.
i dont like DS games but that doesnt mean its not a gaming system

Well apart from the fact that most of the game are glitchy and not fun, and then adding to the fact ports aren’t fun, i rather say its a horrible portable system and i also consider it not a portable device because it’s purpose is different, and the battery life is less than almost a hour or two for video games. I don’t know if you consider it, but i for one do not.

how is it not a portable system?
it plays like literally thousands of games with basically every genre racing and strategy type games actually handle really well and hardware is capable of graphics as good or better than a DS your not limited to things like disc and cartridge space and an iphone is like 5x more portable that a blocky psp or a DS.
so combining all of those quality’s how is an iphone not considered a portable gaming device

Name a few examples. Words with friends became a trend, angry birds, plants vs zombies. I would say all of them became a trend because everyone thought of it as a portable gaming system, which it shouldn’t be, it is a phone, a psp is a portable system, a ds is a portable system, but not a ipod or iphone let alone a ipad.

angry birds was kinda trendy cause people only bought it cause everyone else had it but iphone games as a whole is not a trend people buy iphone games for their own enjoyment because its fun. if the games were truly bad then they wouldnt sell any simple as that
