Call Of Duty Modern Warfare Reflex Video Review in HQ 8.5/10 But Black Ops is better!

admin February 12, 2013 19

Modern Warfare Reflex Edition on Wii still feels a bit rough. There are some frame rate issues in single player, and there is quite some lag to be had during certain matches online. The whole single player campaign is in this game, unlike World at War. The framerate in online multiplayer is fine. All the perks, maps (not DLC there were four DLC maps), and guns (including golden guns) are in the game. If you like the controls, haven’t played CoD4 yet, or if Wii is your only system, Call of Duty Modern Warfare Reflex will be a shooter that will last you a long while. However, Call of Duty Black Ops is better than this game, and it has many improvements, including no more lag shooting…This game used to be an 8.5/10, the new score is 7/10.

okay, well I’ll pick up MWR next time I’m in town and I’ll let you know how it goes with finding full matches and what not. I live in Australia, GMT+10 (+11 in daylight savings a.k.a. now) to be precise.
so anyway, thanks for all the help and I’ll get back to you.

Yeah, the lag is still more than the other consoles, however, no lag shooting is required. You just notice things are a bit slower to register. MWR is way worse when it comes to lag. It’s still easy to find a game in MWR, but this is only true during USA hours. If you live in another country, I’m not sure, because I never play during those hours. =(

hmm. well thanks for the heads up, but I think I’m gonna stick with MWR, especially seeing as MWR is less than half the price of BO in my region. Just incase I end up buying BO aswell, I’m guessing it doesn’t lag nearly as much as MWR, right?
And finally, do many people still play MWR online, and is it easy to find a full game?
    thanks.

Yeah, it is the same as 360. I guess you’re just one of those people that prefers Modern Warfare. I can’t help but sigh. But Modern Warfare Reflex lags a bitch ton, much more than any other Call of Duty on Wii. If you do buy MWR, be prepared to shoot 2-6 feet in front of people unless you’re host. This especially ruins the game during sniping.

I don’t really like black ops on 360, but I do however like the modern warfare series. so is black ops the same on Wii as it is on 360? and if so, I should like, and buy, modern warfare reflex, right?
